About Me

Some years ago, I began to take stock of my health, happiness, and my life in general. I decided on a career change. After a few avenues explored and discarded I found myself in the College of Naturopathic Medicine where I began studying a diploma in Nutrition and to be a Natural Chef. This was me; I’d found where my heart and interests lay. My family had told me many times in the past to go into food, they obviously knew me better than I knew myself!

Being mindful of the quality of my meat, fish, produce, and other ingredients is something I have always done as a self-confessed ‘foodie’. But learning about how our bodies work and how disease states develop, made me think about food on a whole other level. I believe that what you put in is what you get out.

Nutritional therapy

I also believe in the power of the mind. It was in college one day that someone was talking about EFT to a client. I was immediately interested, what is this therapy I wondered. After finding out more about it, it became clear to me that this mind energy therapy goes hand in hand with nutritional therapy, just as body and mind are interlinked. Food choices are governed by our emotions, whether we realise this or not, so I decided to study EFT with Tania Prince, who is a Founding Master of EFT.

I have a real passion for good food, tasty food, nutritious food. I find helping people make positive changes in their life is the job satisfaction I need.

As a single mum to a young child who is growing up so fast it makes me cherish every moment spent together and guardian to a big soft-hearted dog, I have a newfound awareness of the fragility of life and how important it is to appreciate what we have. I believe we should respect and care where our food comes from, animals should be well looked after and given good lives. We need to farm with conscientiousness, mindful of our soil and not wasteful of our produce.  I believe we should take responsibility for our health, reconnect with our bodies, and enjoy doing it!
